Zero Waste Week

Hello Dear Reader,

Next week is zero waste week. That's a challenge for anyone.

I'm going to have a go.

We don't throw much away any way. Most containers are recycled in the recycling bins in the car park. I also take newspapers out of the recycling bins and use them to light my fire.

I take my cleaning products to the local DIY shop to get it refilled. I also get hand pump soap and shower gel refilled there too.

I don't use paper towels and take a cloth napkin to work and use cloth napkins at home too.

We certainly don't waste food with batch cooking and freezing. I check what's in the fridge and use up what's needed first. I sniff or take a look at food, if it looks ok, smells ok and tastes ok, then we'll eat it.

We try our best to waste as little as possible.

Next week, I'm going to try and waste even less.

Now, over to you. Share your ideas of how to reduce waste and what do you think? Can you have a zero waste life?

Until tomorrow

Love Froogs
