Hello Dear Reader,
I'm one of those few people for whom order in my home equals calm in my head. I also work full time as well as having an hour and a half commute a day. I have a little and often method of keeping the house in order; I also tackle a 'job I don't like' each week. I'll be sharing those yuck jobs each week and maybe it'll be just the nudge you need (feel free to ignore it as I'm not here to nag) to tackle your household chores without letting them get on top of you.
Here's my job of the week. Clean out and tidy the pots and pans. You may have these in a cupboard or deep kitchen draw. You may not have used everything in a while. Take everything out of the cupboard, if anything needs washing, or a scrub with a scourer and salt, or oiling then scrub away then tackle those pans. Use hot soapy water and a cloth, wash down the shelves then use a dry tea towel before you neatly stack everything away. This took me thirty minutes and won't need doing for another month.
I've had most of these pans for over ten years and looked after, they'll last a life time.
More handy household tips to come.
Love Froogs xxxx
