Hello Dear Reader,

A quick in and out tonight. Tuesday is a bit busy, thankfully I cooked on Sunday for a couple of days do let myself off kitchen duties tonight. Tonight, is my weigh night at slimming club and I'm now 13lbs down and 1.5lbs off this week. Once upon a time, super competitive me would not be happy with such slow weight loss and feel like I'm failing but I'm surprising myself that I'm dealing with the slow journey really well.

I had a similar journey when I was getting rid of debt, it was a slowly, slowly procedure of just sticking at it and chipping away at it. A bit at a time, literally a few pounds here and there. My debt free journey fared better than my previous weight loss as I lost weight before and put it on. However, we stopped borrowing money, paid off what we owed, stayed debt free and are paying down the capital of the mortgage by £800 a month and an extra £40 in the last month to round it off to a reduction of £10K a year.

I'm now of the mindset that my weight loss will need to be like my philosophy to money, once I've lost it and I will lose it, that my life will have to stay healthy, with portion control and self control. I'm going to have to make it happen. It will be something that I'm always going to have to use it.

I'm making it happen every night by taking myself out to pound the streets. I'll stop typing and get back out in the inclement weather again!

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs xxxxx
