Hello Dear Reader,
It's beautifully sunny and warm this evening and perfect for a trot round Liskeard.
Open countryside wherever I look.
Evening sun on the roadside.
Cornish cross and long evening shadows.
Primroses are everywhere, they puff out fragrance in the evening sun.
Back into Liskeard with its solid stone buildings.
Sun bathed local library.
Plenty of history.
Even my GP surgery has an air of solidity.
My wonderful little Cornish town has real gems like the Liskerret Centre and The Hub Cafe, if you're in the area it's well worth a visit.
Flowers spill over garden walls and tumble into the road.
Celandines and wild garlic fill the hedgerows at the bottom of my garden path.
Home again, sitting in our garden with a cup of tea. Why all the photos you may ask. Nights like this remind me how lucky to live my simple life. There's nothing better than enjoying where we live, a walk in the evening sun then enjoying each other's company and the last of the evening sun.
We are so lucky to have each other, where we live and a little bit of sunshine to warm our evening.
Until tomorrow,
Love Froogs xxxxx
