Hello Dear Reader,
Happy New Year to you all. We had an early night and slept through the celebrations. We've had a great New Year's Day with our friends in their Dartmoor village. It was already dark when got home and I just wanted to cook something really quickly. I rustled up some pasta with mushrooms, pasta and pesto.
It doesn't look great as there wasn't much light and a flash always alters the colour.
Tomorrow, if officially the last day of our mid winter holiday and I intend to make the most if it. I also need to go shopping for the first time since the 22nd of Dec. There's nothing fresh left and I'll need to rectify that!
Dodgy photo, but that's the last if the veg in the fridge. Nothing was wasted at all this Christmas.
