Stock cupboard sticky sausages

Hello Dear Reader,

Here is the weather report for Cornwall. 40 mph wind, with sideways rain, floods and more rain. Also, we will have that 24 hours a day for the next four days. Oh joy!

I don't usually cook on a Monday night! I wish had something prepared but I didn't. Here's what found in the cupboard and flung together.

From the freezer

Black Farmer's daughter's gluten free sausages - very expensive for what they are but try finding a cheap gluten free sausage! £2.99 in Morrisons.

From the pantry
1 tin of potatoes 18p
1 tin of green beans 39p
1 onion - I sliced this 20p
Gravy granules - 5p
jar of red onion marmalade - 2 heaped tablespoons - 10p

I placed the potatoes, onions and sausages in a pan and fried them

I made a very thick instant gravy and added two hearty tablespoons of red onion marmalade. This thicken, sweetened and stickified the whole lot!

I opened the tin of beans and served the whole lot. I think it took all for fifteen minutes.

The weather was dreadful, there was water splashing all over the ferry deck, we drove through water on the way home, got blown up and down the garden and then when I got in I had to cook. It had to be quick. Thank goodness for a well stocked pantry and zombie apocolypse cupboard!

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs xxxx
