Hello Dear Reader,
We had this with our supper on Saturday night. It beat away the sweet cravings that I had!
You will need
1/2 a cup of pudding rice
5 cups of milk
4 heaped tablespoons of soft brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
1 jar of apple sauce to stir though at the end and soft brown sugar to sprinkle on top.
Add, the rice, milk, sugar and vanilla extract to the slow cooker. Stir, set to low and go out for the day!
Come home, loosen this with some milk and add a jar of apple sauce and stir through.
Serve with a sprinkle of soft dark brown sugar.
Sticky, toffeeish, applely and really delicious!
