So far! 6.5 million page views! Over 35,000 unique visitors stop by each month!

I want you to spread the word..............Cornwall, in all its rugged beauty is open for business!

Do not be put off, not even for a second! Book your campsites, hotels and B&Bs for the summer as usual! Book your festival tickets for the Looe Festival! Book your theatre tickets for the Minack and Sterts

Make your way to Boardmasters!

Come down and visit the National Trust Properties.

Come and have your intellect challenged at the Port Elliot Festival

Gastronomic delight at the Falmouth Oyster Festival

I can personally recommend the Cornwall Spring Flower Show at Boconnoc, which heralds the return of better weather.

Oggy, Oggy, Oggy!!!!!!!!!!!! Trevithick Day in Camborne!  It's on a Saturday and I shall be there this year!!!!

Padstow May Day - where Cornwall welcomes summer in an ancient rite. Oss! Oss! Oss!

Then off to the Scillies for the World  Pilot Gig Rowing Championship

Saltash May Fair (I shall not miss this one!)

Helston Flora Day - the sound of that 7am drum reduces me to a Cornish mess of local pride on the first strike!

Fowey Festival, Lost Fest (Lostwithiel Festival), Bude and Stratton Folk Festival

The massive and not to be missed Royal Cornwall Show   a celebration of all things agricultural!

The Golowen Festival at Penzance.

Mevagissey Feast week - A massive fish festival.

Liskeard Agricultural Show - THE best day of the year!!!! Small enough to have fun! Come and legitimately say "Look at the balls on that!"

Bodmin Moor 100 - one of the toughest bike races in Britain. Steep and long, long climbs!!!!

Boconnoc Steam Fair - mid summer, balmy scorched days and plenty of heritage!

Creation Fest - The south west's biggest Christian music and faith festival - hugely supported every year and totally free

Royal Fowey Regatta - come and smell the money!!!!!!!! All jokes aside about the landed gentry swanning in for a week of racing, this is an amazing week. It's worth it for the giant pasty that is brought ashore (I kid you not) and the Red Arrows (in town hall if wet). The infamous Fowey Town Band - you can not join if you have any musical ability whatsoever! Best week of the year!

Heritage Open days - FREE!!!! Get the chance to see properties that are often not open to the public. Every year for four days in September!

Cornwall Food and Drink Festival - Cornwall has the most amazing local food! Our sea food is the best there is...........so good that the French and Spanish import it! We have an abundance of orchards producing wonderful cider and breweries making Cornish Beer. Some of the best restaurants in the UK are to be found right here in Cornwall.

Truro city of lights - we don't get gloomy about the winter darkness, instead we welcome it. Liskeard, St. Austell to name but two Cornish towns have winter celebrations of torch lit and lantern processions to start off the winter celebrations.

I have listed just a tiny selection of the events that happen in Cornwall every year. I wish I could get to more of them but there just isn't the time. You on the other hand can pack up your tent and head down to Cornwall for our amazing beaches, laid back attitude to life and walk in our sunshine. Yes, the sunshine will return.

Remember, Cornwall mostly looks like this!

With the exception of the railway at Dawlish, all major routes in and out of Cornwall are unaffected. We are open for business and very much look forward to any one, anywhere in the world coming to see us.

The seasons will turn.

The sun will come out.

We will again return to being a county of outdoor adventures and great family fun.

Don't be strangers and come back soon.

A favour! Underneath, just under here..........can you see it? You can link this post to your Facebook page and you can 'Tweet' it and send to to loads of other dear readers. Please help me spread the word that Cornwall is open for business. That so much xxxx

Love Froogs and everyone in Cornwall!
