Hello Dear Reader,
It's been a busy, blustery and wet weekend here in Cornwall. The plumber has created a utility area in our back porch. The view is from the kitchen sink. We have been to our local emporium of all things useful and cheaper than anywhere else (Trago) and have bought a sink for the downstairs toilet as there currently isn't one in there. His next job will be to come back and fit that.

We also tried to buy some secondary double glazing film for our windows but couldn't buy any. We 've ordered some from an internet supplier. To help us stay warm, I have used masking tape to seal all the gaps around the sash windows. I've then used anything to hand to cut down the draughts.

My sewing room is getting better all the time. The curtains were previously in the lounge in our old house. The other rooms have deconstructed and resewn curtains.
The other curtains will be recycled as covers for dog beds.

I have another week at work and then two weeks to finish off unpacking and settling in. I can't believe that I've been here for two weeks and I haven't touched a quilt yet!!!
Over to you Dear Reader, who else is doing all they can to keep warm? Who has used insulation film? Who is suffering from dreadful weather? The northern American states are covered in snow, Australias are mid-summer and in a heat wave......which one are you?
Until tomorrow,
Love Froogs xxxxx
